A Message to the ROWVA Community
Today,11-8-2021, ROWVA 208 was notified that four individuals in the district tested positive for COVID-19. The ROWVA Administration Team has already completed the necessary steps for the Knox County Health Department to initiate contact tracing.
We have seen low numbers over the past weeks, but today is a reminder that we are still working through covid issues and protocols. Please continue to be vigilant in your approach.

The RW FS football game with Knoxville for tomorrow (10/25) will now be played in Oneida. Kickoff is still 6:00 PM.

Our FAFSA information night has been rescheduled for Oct. 28th. All Seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about financial aid opportunities. 6:30pm in the HS LMC.
Due to a confirmed COVID-19 case in the Jr. High football program, this evening's game vs. Abington-Avon has been canceled. The game will not be made up. There will be no practice this evening, tomorrow (10/21) or Friday (10/22). Practice will resume Saturday, 10/23. Please contact Coach Gonzalez with any questions.

Monday, October 18, 2021, will be a 1:30 dismissal to allow teachers to plan and work with remote learners. The Board of Education will vote Monday night on whether or not we will continue Monday 1:30 dismissals to give our teachers time to help remote learners. #rowvastrong
Tuesday, October 19th, is Picture Day at ROWVA Junior/Senior High School.
Students received picture order forms today during Academic Support. If your student missed AS or has misplaced their order form, they may pick one up one in the office.
Orders are due with payment on October 19th.

Just a reminder, Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on Wednesday and Thursday October 20 & 21 from 5:00-8:00 each evening. Conferences will take place in-person, and we encourage you to sign up in advance for your conference(s). Please follow the link below to sign up for conferences with individual teachers. Due to wet field conditions and a less than promising forecast, the FS football game for tonight vs United has been postponed until tomorrow at 6:00 PM in Oneida.
The JH girls basketball game at Costa for tomorrow, October 12, has been canceled. They do not have a team this year. The girls will practice from 6:15-7:45 PM in the elementary gym tomorrow instead.
