The State Scholar Program recognizes students attending approved high schools for outstanding academic achievement. State scholar designation provides honorary recognition. Approximately the top ten percent of graduates from approved high schools are announced as State Scholars each year.
State scholar is based on either class rank and ACT or SAT test scores, or a student can qualify by earning a score at or above the 95th percentile on the ACT or SAT. There is a specific formula that determines who is considered for this ISAC program.
This is a major accomplishment for these students and their parents, and it represents a dedication to academics. Congratulations to you all.
