As road conditions have improved, all athletic events for today, January 19, are on as planned. Parents, if you are not comfortable with your children traveling today, that is fine. All of our coaches will be understanding of this. Please just communicate with your coach if your child cannot make it to the scheduled practice or contest.

HS Boys BKB/Cheer- game vs A-town in Oneida @ 6:00

JHVB- practice in ROWVA elementary at 3:30
The staff appreciation dinner, girls golf and cheerleading banner ceremony have all been moved to Friday, February 9th.

In between the JV and varsity game, we will honor the 2023 competive cheer team for qualifying for the IHSA state championships as well as the 2023 RW girls golf team for qulaifying for sectionals!

Wrestling updates for this coming week (week of 1/15):
No HS triangular with Orion and Putnam County on Monday, 1/15.
We will add a triangular to serve as senior night on Monday, 1/22 instead.
East Peoria has canceled the girls triangular for Tuesday as well.

JHBKB/JH Cheer-- no game, no practice
Var BKB/Cheer- Game still on, @ Peoria Heights, bus time remains the same--kids are allowed to ride to game with parents if desired
JVBKB- practice in rowva elementary, 3:30-5:15, bus from WF @ 3
HS wrestle- practice in rowva caf, 3:30-5:15 bus from WF @ 3
JH wrestle- practice in rowva caf, 5:30-7:00 bus from WF @ 4:50
JHVB- practice in rowva hs gym, 3:30-5:15, bus from WF @ 3
Breakfast for Thursday, January 11th will be cereal, breakfast bar, fruit, juice, and milk. The lunch menu will remain the same.
Due to the predicted forecast, all extracurricular games and practices for this evening are cancelled. No call has been made for school tomorrow yet.
JH wrestling and JH volleyball are cancelled for tonight. No practice for either.
No other changes have been made for the planned events as of now. If there any more changes, we will let you know.

Girls basketball hosts Macomb tonight in Oneida at 6:00 PM. Between the JV and varsity games, we will honor the 2023 girls 4x100 meter relay team that placed ninth at the state track meet!

The RW wrestling team has three dual meets tonight at Macomb High School. They will face off agasint Macomb, Riverdale and Sherrard. Wrestling begins at 5:30 in the high school gym.
