
A reminder to district parents: student registration closes next week on Friday! ALL district students MUST be registered online prior to 11 A.M. on Friday, August 14th. You still need to complete registration even if you have chosen remote learning for your student(s).

Parents of elementary students who still have Chromebooks: please return Chromebooks to the bin at the front of the school prior to 11 A.M. today if you are able. If you are unable to drop it off today please make sure to make arrangements to do so on Monday before 2 P.M.

Any HS student interested in golfing and a their parents should attend a meeting on Sunday, August 9th in the Galva HS parking lot. Meeting starts at 5:00 PM. Please bring a mask with you!

ELEMENTARY students who have Chromebooks need to return them to the school by this Friday, Aug. 7th. Chromebooks will be inspected and updated. Remote learners will be able to check out Chromebooks again prior to school starting.

As of today, 100 percent of our #rowvastrong students have chosen their learning for the first quarter of the 20-21 school year. Administrators are working to take these final numbers and look at class lists to finalize those as well. We are optimistic that our numbers will allow us to safely continue forward with the plan we have set in place. Final numbers will be released Monday morning. Please contact your building administrators if you have any questions or concerns.

ATTN Jr High & HS students. The IHSA has postponed football, volleyball & cheerleading to the spring of 2021. If you chose in person learning due to sports & would now like to opt-in to remote learning, please contact the HS office by Monday 8/3 to make the change. #rowvastrong

Football will be moving it’s practice from tomorrow, July 27th to Tuesday, July 28th due to the forecast calling for storms.

The IESA announced today that the 2020 junior high softball and baseball seasons are cancelled and will not be made up. There has been no decision made yet on JH girls basketball.

Sorry for the late notice, but with all the changes coming out from the IHSA, we are cancelling tomorrow's (July 10) workout for both boys and girls. The coaches need more time to work with the administrators to come up with a plan as to what we will do next week.

Reminder! The United Way is providing lunches for the children in our community. This is for any child! Email Julie Storm at jstorm@rowva.k12.il.us to get on the list. Lunches can be picked up M-W-F, 10 am, across from the post office in each town.

The United Way of Knox County will be providing lunches for the children in our communities starting on Monday, July 6, 2020. As before, the lunches will be distributed by the post office in each town at 10 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you would like to pick lunches up for your children, please email Julie Storm at jstorm@rowva.k12.il.us to be added to the list.

We are aware that there is an issue with elementary students getting registered with online registration. Ms. Sallee and Mrs. Danner are working to get those issues resolved. Please try again at a later time if you encounter problems registering your elementary student. We hope to have the issue resolved soon!
