Parents: Please check the lunch menu on a daily basis. Changes are likely to be made as we are still having problems receiving supplies.
Also, if your child brings cold lunch and would like to buy milk, they need to have money in their account. Free milk is only available with the USDA full reimbursable meal.
A Message to the ROWVA Community:
Today, ROWVA 208 was notified that a person in the district tested positive for COVID-19. The ROWVA Administration Team has already completed contact tracing.
As numbers continue to rise in Knox County, I urge you to be vigilant in your precautions. Please continue to do your best to social distance, wash your hands, and wear face coverings to help control the spread of COVID-19. Together, we are #rowvastrong.

JH baseball travels to United for a 4:30 start.

The RW varsity football game this Saturday, August 28 will now begin at 7:00 PM instead of 10:00 AM. The game will be still be at Abingdon-Avon HS in Abingdon.
We are excited to welcome back students tomorrow, Monday, August 23rd. Please remember that face masks are required on the bus and in the building, breakfasts and lunches are free for all students, and we will be back on our regular schedule (8-3). See you tomorrow! #rowvastrong
The week 1 varsity football game at A-Town has been moved to Saturday, 8/28 at 10:00 AM. Our week 5 game will also be moved to Thursday, 9/23 at Mercer County HS. It was originally scheduled for Friday, 9/24.
The RW girls volleyball game that was scheduled for Thursday, 8/26 @ United has now been moved to Tuesday, 8/24 @ United. The freshmen game will start at 5:00.
Football COVID Outbreak ALL CALL
The Knox County Health Department has discovered a COVID-19 outbreak within our varsity football program. Varsity football activities have been paused and individuals needing to quarantine are being contacted by the health department. Please monitor your child for COVID-19 related symptoms and contact the high school office if symptoms occur.

Fever (100.4°F or higher)
New onset of moderate to severe headache
Shortness of breath
New cough
Sore throat
Vomiting
Diarrhea,
New loss of sense of taste or smell
Fatigue from unknown cause
Muscle or body aches from unknown cause
At this time, the R-W Community Night for August 20, 2021, will be cancelled. Please continue to be vigilant as we move toward the start of the 2021-2022 School Year.

The JH baseball and softball games for today have been canceled. Baseball will still practice in Oneida. Softball will not practice today.
We are in need of a scoreboard operator and play clock operator for our 4 home varisty football games. The dates are:
9/3, 9/17, 10/1 and 10/22. We will pay $25 a game for both positions. Please contact ggullstrand@rowva.k12.il.us if you are interested.
Reminder to parents: ALL students will receive free meals during the 2021-22 school year. This includes breakfast and lunch.
RW JH softball is off to a great start! 5-1 on the season so far after 1 week of games. Great job by the coaches and players!
