All of our students at ROWVA have access to the Tiger Hub, a room of resources like toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, shorts, combs, in addition to hygiene, food, academic and other resources our students might need. We are pleased several students are using this resource, and we are asking for help in restocking our Tiger Hub for second semester needs. Thank you for considering supporting this valuable district project. On Thursday, August 8, from 12:30 until 2:30 pm, all incoming 7th grade students are invited to attend 7th Grade Orientation. Students should be dropped off at the JH/HS lobby, near the gym before 12:30, and can be picked up at the same location at 2:30. During orientation, students will get to Meet the JH Administration and many of their teachers. Also during orientation students will receive a copy of their schedules, work on opening their lockers and find all of their classrooms. Students will not need to bring anything as Back to School Night will be held on Monday August 12 and students can bring supplies in at that time. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Ben Rees at brees@rowva.k12.il.us or call the JH at 309-483-6371.

Congratulations to Coach Gullstrand who was awarded the Semper Fi Coaching Award after being nominated by someone within the community. Grant's dedication to developing leaders both on and off the football field, his dedication to giving to our community, and his display of the Marine motto of Semper Fidelis -- Always Faithful has led to this deserving award.
